Shipping Policy

  • Your delivery charges will be clearly specified with the pricing details, at the time of check out. The shipping charges may differ from order to order, based on volume and product.
  • You will get an e mail from us once your order has been dispatched. Orders will be delivered within a week from the date of dispatch under normal circumstances. 
  • Sometimes, delivery time is subjected to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to, unexpected travel delays from our courier partners due to weather conditions or any political disruptions or strikes. You will have to pardon us for such occurrences. We advise you to check your emails for any such updates. 
  • There will be no hidden charges or extra taxes on any product.
  • While placing an order, please write down your proper address, with correct PIN CODE. We will not be liable for delays resulting from incomplete address listings. Some courier agencies charge a penalty for wrong address. In such cases, the buyer, without exception will have to bear that amount of any such penalty and/or fees. 
  • Address update (changing) requests for a particular order will not be supported once that order is placed.
  • Please provide a local phone number at the delivery address when placing the order. Courier agencies may need to check for directions, and not having a local phone number available may cause inadvertent delays.
  • All in-transit risks will be fully born by us. If a packet gets lost or damaged during transit it will be replaced at no additional cost from our end.
  • There will be a maximum of three attempts to deliver a product. You will receive an SMS after every failed delivery, with our contact number. We request you to please contact us if need be to make the next delivery a success. Please note there will be no refund after 3 failed deliveries and in case the package has been refused by recipients.
  • Shipment tracking: Once the product is dispatched by us, you will receive the tracking code in your mail ID or Phone, with which you can track the status of your purchased product.
  • Dispatch day of the products may vary and will be mentioned with the product description. A dispatch day will be counted once the payment hits Indostrings’ account.
  • Shipping charges: Free across India with some exceptions like union territories where INR 50 rupees for every 500gm will be charged extra as shipping charges.
  • Additional charges applicable for Cash On Delivery (COD) INR 60 rupees will be charged extra for COD orders up to 2000 rupees. Above 2000 rupees additional 50 rupees will be added on every 1000 rupees after the  2000 rupees benchmark  or 3% of the order value or whichever is higher.
