Return and Exchange Policy

  • The product returned should be in its original condition (as you received it), unused, stain and odor free, should have original tags/labels in place and folds intact and returned along with the box if any was given at the time of delivery to be considered eligible for refund. The returned product will undergo a verification process to match the damage description given in the e-mail sent by you and that present in the returned product.
  • Customer is to bear the cost of shipping the product to us.
  • Returned product will be matched with the pictures taken before delivery to establish differences and will be confirmed eligible for Refund based on the analysis. The decision of a returned product’s eligibility for refund generation resides strictly with INDOSTRINGS.
  • You should never send back an item without our confirmation mail. Otherwise no credit or replacement shall be given.
  • If we do not get the returned product within 7 business days after we sent the confirmation mail, we will inform you the same and the Exchange or Return Request will be cancelled.
  • Your bank details should be properly given for a refund, our website will not take responsibility of any typing error.
  • Clearance sale items are final and will not be exchanged.
  • A product ordered cannot be cancelled once it is shipped.
  • Sequins and beads tend to come off no matter how careful you are. In hand-painted/handcrafted sarees color spread and irregularity in design is common. In such cases, the Sarees will not be considered as damaged or defective and no return/refund/exchange request will be considered.
  • The Return Request must be generated within 3 days of receiving the product.
  • Due to shipping package size constraints, sarees are generally folded while shipped. The creases due to folds do not make a saree defective or creased and no return request therefore will be entertained in such cases.
  • Any product if specifically mentioned to be “non-exchangeable or non-returnable”, it cannot be subjected to exchange or return.

Cancellation Policy

  • Any purchase can be cancelled within 24 hours from the purchase time.
  • In order to cancel a purchase, the buyer needs to send a mail to sales@indostrings.com.

  • Use of this website shall in all respects be governed by the laws of the state of West Bengal, India, regardless of the laws that might be applicable under principles of conflicts of law. The parties agree that the courts located in West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all controversies arising under this agreement and agree that venue is proper in those courts.


  • We ship to you the same sarees that are displayed here and we do our best to display the color of the products as accurately as possible. Sometimes, however, some colors may appear different on your system (be it a computer/laptop/tablet/phone) from the real color. This could be due to lighting and/or limitations of digital photography. Such color differences are not to be considered as a factor while comparing a requested and delivered product.
